This Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings (0-3) will host the Pittsburg Steelers (0-3) at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder injured his rib in their loss
last week against the Cleveland Browns, and will not be playing.
Backup QB Matt Cassel will have his first start with the Vikings on Sunday.
Cassel was released by the Kansas City Chiefs in March and signed by the Vikings.
"I'm hoping that he shines," Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said. "We want (Matt Cassel) to have the best game of his NFL career."
Cassel is 1-3 against the Steelers in his career, 0-1 with the New England Patriots and 1-2 with the Kansas City Chiefs.
"We've got to execute," Cassel said. "We're both trying to [... ] turn the season around."
The Steelers have also lost 3 straight games.
Last week against the Chicago Bears, Steelers quarterback Ben
Roethlisberger completed 26 of his 41 passes for a total of 406 yards
and 2 touchdowns.
Despite their loss, wide receiver Antonio Brown had an exceptional game with 9 receptions for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns.
A Vikings win over Pittsburg will not only come from Cassel's
passing, but also running back Adrian Peterson's effectiveness with the
ball.
"I have faith that our running game is gonna open up and explode," Peterson said.
So far this year, he has rushed for 281 yards and has 3 of the Vikings' 10 touchdowns.
He has had a better start than last year's first 3 games.
Last season, he was 9 yards shy Eric Dickerson's 2, 105 yard record.
Though the Steelers have not yet had a take-away this year, the Vikings need to limit their turnovers in this game.
"We've got to make sure that we do a better job of keeping the ball in our hands" injured Christian Ponder said.
So far this season, the Vikings have had 10 turnovers, Ponder with 7 of them.
Last year they had half as many turnovers in their first three games.
The Steelers and Vikings are both looking to avoid 4 consecutive losses and win their first game this season.
The game begins at 10:00 on Sunday and will be aired on CBS.
